I know about the beach, I've worked there enough to know all the good fishing/swimming spots like Huegenot Mem. park ;)
I've actually got the crud too, and I don't have the patience to put up with kids for 4 hours worth of driving the way I feel, and if I DID go without her, I may as well be a eunich afterwards.
It's possible she'll feel better, but it was bad enough for her to go to the doc, and that rarely happens.
