Just got back home. It was an outstanding event. Thanks for the hard "work" Andy.
Great to see some old faces again and meet some new ones.
:clappp
For those that left early, apparently around 4:00 or so, someone turned the gain up on the gravity because everything was going in. Andy, next year point the fans in the other direction so we can have 40MPH wind from the left. :WOW

Even though it was extremely windy throughout the day, I had an excellent time. Great work guys!

Motions - Thanks for the bearings, I'm certain they will be quite useful.

Guys,

This was my first visit to a heli fly in and I had a good time. However, I am a beginner and I was really looking forward to the "clinic" part of the fly-in and as far as I know, that never happened. I did not here any announcements or see a class going on all day. I did see guys at center stage all day, but if it was a class, it must have been by "word of mouth." Just some positive criticism for next year.....If you are going to have the "clinic", maybe make an announcement during the fly-in where to go at what time for us newbies. Other than that, you guys put on a great fly-in with really good food and prizes.

AWESOME time...

Everyone brought there "A" game even in the wind the flying was off the hook. Vance tore it up with the Knight, Bobby and Steven from Team RjX layed down some smack for sure, Craig from MA had some kick butt flights. It was something to see.

add this one to you list for next year guys, this is how they get started, last year 27 pilots, this year 58, let's break a hundred next year.

Thanks guys, you made it an awesome event, I just filled out the sanction and ordered the food.

KL, if you were at the pilots meeting I stated that if you needed help find me and I would either help you in the right direction or find the best person to help you out. I tried to talk to everyone yesterday and if you felt you needed help and didnt get it I'm sorry.

The "clinic" is added so people like yourself can come and not be intimidated by the center flight box factory guys and feel comfortable getting and asking for help. I set several people up with factory guys for their models or helped them personally. Next time ask you go to an event ask the CD for some assistance finding the right person to help you out, I'm sure you will get more help than you need. Also feel free to come to Jacksonville on any weekend, we are more than willing to get you started in the right direction.

Not sure what Andyhas planned for the event but if I can help out in anyway just let me know.

There will be courses in the following D's:

1D (Beginner Hovering/Orientation Exercises)
2D (3D Foundation Building & Basic Aerobatics)
3D (Advanced Manuvers and How to Break Advanced Manuvers Down)

No problem. I just saw this post prior to the fly-in and was under the impression that there were going to be classes for the "clinic". Unfortunately I got there after the pilot's meeting and since I was an out of towner I don't know you or anyone else to ask about the classes, I assumed there would be announcements prior. Oh well, now I know for next year. Just offering up solutions for next year's newbies who show. No threat intended. Thanks.

Thanks Andy and staff for all your efforts in putting the event together and taking the time to gather a good collection of pilot prizes from the generous vendors.

Thanks SteveL for the 12Z update....that was worth the trip right there alone. I was working with it today and it had no problems.

Windy? Hell, that wasn't windy.

These guys know how to make it happen.

15.00 Landing fee, and free food, at a killer club, with real bathrooms, concrete run way, and a bunch of good people. In fact, i think about 60 pilots.

I had a blast. The weather was hot and windy, but we flew through it like it didnt exist.

Thanks Vance for the props. That flight was your fault, LOL

Vance killed it as well, threw a 50 around like a rag doll, then landed and laughed, LOL. This guy gets the "Attitude of the year" award, Cause he's always smilin and havin a good time.

Just got word that Vance boom struck his heli today, Sorry about that dude. Get it right for the weekend. Funny thing is, he was laughing about it while he was explaining it to me, LOL.

Bobby Smith was tearin up the windy Blue as well, Definitely made some holes in the sky this weekend, and was doin some Shiot lower than i ever seen him do it, Nice flyin Boob.

Dave Dilling "CD", had his new toy out this weekend, and he gets the most freakin imporved pilot of the year award. Dave it really killin it, and havin a blast doing it.

Thanks Andy and staff for making this a memorable event, and one that i will definitely attend next year.

Thanks for hosting such a nice low-key "fun" event Andy. I really enjoyed seeing some people for the first time in a few years.
However, it's going to take a while before I understand how tons of blade-farting has transitioned from being a "bad" thing to a "good" thing <G>
