Its time again! The 2nd annual First Coast Helicopter Fly In and Clinic will be held in Jacksonville Florida on May 19th. The same as last year we will have open flying on Friday the 18th (be nice to the plank pilots) and the field will be open to rotary wing only on the 19th. Also this year we will have open flying at the other club on Sunday May 20th if you wish to stay for the weekend, its about 6 miles from the event site and there's two flight lines so there's no conflict with the airplanes.
The fee is going up a little but Saturday lunch will be provided for registered pilots and hamburgers and hot dogs will be available for sale, the pilots lunch will be catered by the local BBQ restaurant. I have to get an idea of attendence and get with the BBQ joint but I think the fee is going to be 15 dollars.
Turbines, autogyros ok, campers ok no hookups. The kitchen won't be open on Friday but there's some stuff a few miles from the field, a subway and McYak come to mind.
As soon as I get a sanction number back I'll post a flyer. Look forward to seeing everyone again. NO EVENTS this year, that was a bust last year and everyone just wanted to fly, thats fine with me. Should be some nice prizes this year as well.

We can keep an open mind. I can tell you last year I got zero intrest in any events so we just kept the flight line open all day and everyone was happy.

Vance, you've got to make this event, theres no one else I trust to teach me to fly this little Heli. this is one or those events I would like to see growup to be like B-ham or Blacksheep, so all you heli guys make the trip to FREAK-VILLE and ROCK THIS PLACE! :glasses2:

Please BEWARE when flying at this event!! Jacksonville has some sort of atmospheric air pockets or electrical interference. I crash something once a month over there. :bawl
Or maybe I just need to take one of those flying clinics while I'm there. Who wants to buddy box?

The sim can probably teach you more than i can  For all the guys that thought I was nuts for trading the ERaptor550 I won at BHam for the Mini-Titan won by Steven Fox,Robert is why I did it....I gave him the Mini-Titan to get him started with helis...i knew the 550 would be a little too costly for him to really get into it....Merry Late/Early Christmas Robert
