so i traded my cx2 for a cpp and i miss the cx2....
My only complaint i had was forward flight. Is there a way to get more forward flight out of them? I see aftermarket tail parts on ebay suggesting that they help due to less restrictions... tryue?

When I had my cx I just added a piece of stick on lead to the front. Not very much weight at all, just a little bit, like maybe grams. Heck I don;t know, but I found them at wal-mart and they where stick on. I put them on the inside of the body in the noise. THe more weight the faster she went. Kind of hard to fly at first though

Just move the swash links out one hole on the servo arms, makes it fly much faster.

I think you can also get a replacement shaft set that increases the separation between the rotors. This allows more extreme cyclic actions with a reduced risk of blade clash.

i did this and the yaw was messed up. It would turn the nose to the right and no matter what i did it would not change unless i kept pushing the control to the left. I tried adjusting the pot mixer and trim and no changes. As soon as i switched it back, it quit.

you have to mechanically level everything again (after moving out a hole).

The CX will FF very well, ( both of mine do anyway, CX, CX2) you need to hold forward right stick all the way down and apply lots of throttle. We fly in a big double gym and the CX will scoot around faster than many of the slow flyer airplanes. Watch the blade strikes though on pull out from FF.
PS take the skids off...its lighter and looks better in flight! Can T/O and land on its belly or impress your friends by hand catching it.
