I want to get a duralite battery for my raptor 50. I will have 9252 servos. I have duralite batteries in both of my Stratuses. Can I use the same for the 50, or it's too heavy. I have now the 4000MAH 2S2P with regulator and stepdown for tail.

Finally, Can the servos handle a 6V regulator or the 5.3V is a better combo?

Too many questions. I'm sorry.

thanks

Yes the servos 9252's can handle regulated 6 volts. The 4000 mah pack only weighs like an ounce more than the 2800. You would still need the stepdown to 5.3 volts for the tail servo if your using a 9251/9256 servo.

Hello, will other tail servos handle 6V or will they be damaged? Also just to make sure can Gyros handle the 6V also?

Cheers

The Gyro can handle 6 volts. The step down transformer goes between the Gyro and the tail servo. I know of several pilots that have used the GY 401/9253/9254 combination on regulated 6 volts. Also a few that have used that setup on a 5 cell nicad / nimh 6 volt pack unregulated.
