I just got my 120SR and have it bound to my DX8 but I'm wondering what set ups most folks are using on their tx. Is there a site where I can find info on setting up my 120SR on my DX8?

Beyond basic set-up like selecting the correct swash type in HELI mode the settings are mostly a matter of customizing control response to your preferences and if necessary toning it down with "training wheels" to keep it from bouncing off the walls and ceilings.
Once your 120SR its trimmed and in the air it will self stabilize into a hover or very gradual drift. From that point control is mostly a matter of learning to move the sticks WITH CONTROL in reaction to seeing what the model is doing — watch the plane of the rotor and angle of the shaft. Due to the self-stabilizing flybar design the model doesn't react immediately to stick input. Dialing in a lot of expo and lowering the rates will slow down the reaction of the model even more resulting in developing a habit of over correcting. That triggers a stabilizing reaction by the flybar, creating the pendulum effect. Things can get out of control pretty fast.
Been there done that, and made more progress faster once I flew at full rate, eliminated the expo and learned to control the thumbs by practicing some basic maneuvers starting with one control at a time.
