Hi,

I have a LamaV3 that I have finally learned to master (yes, I know they are not supposed to be difficult, but I found it difficult at first :arggg: ).

I need some help though with spin. When in the air, the heli rotates to the left at a fair rate. I have the trim adjusted all the way to the right on the TX to try counter it but it does not help. I have learned to fly it by countering the spin using the TX stick, but it reduces the amount of control I would like to have on the heli.

Please could someone help me with setting the heli up properly so it does not keep turning.

TIA

First a disclaimer. I have never had a Lama and this experience comes from a Blade CX.

As I understand it the Blade and the Lama are very very similar so this should hold true for your heli.

On the 4 In One there is a small potentiometer that adjusts the mixing or relative speeds of the two blades. With both sets rotating at the same speed the heli should not yaw/rotate either direction. Adjust the potentiometer in VERY small increments with the battery disconnected and then connect the battery, allow the 4 in one to initialize and then see whether the problem gets better or worse. If worse then adjust the potentiometer in the opposite direction and try again, if better but not completely stable give it another small adjustment and repeat until satisfied.

Just remember to disconnect the battery before adjusting the 'pot' or the 4 in one won't recognize the change. It can be pretty frustrating getting it tweaked just right but it's worth it.

I've got a Lama and what mmillerr suggested will do the job!

Just remember to unplug the battery each time.....VERY IMPORTANT!

Okay.. My bad... I did fiddle with the POT - but never disconnected the battery. I wondered why it never made a difference *sigh*.

Thanks for the tips guys.

This is great info and helped me right out. I'm up and flying no problem now
