hey , well , I think you will be better off with the Ion X 2 , torque tube is way better , Razor , 600 to 620s , its happy there , problem free , well other than the flanges on the tail belt might need to be a tad wider so the belt dont ride on a flange , but Im hapy with my heli , handles great , dont knock it till you try it ,
Tony, I've now seen a Razor up close and agree it looks and fly's great. I also saw evidence that the belt was riding up on the flanges. What a stupid mistake on MA's part to avoid this in the first place, and/or not fix it ASAP! It only took Align ~2 weeks to ship improved grips world-wide last year. Took some guys over 2 months just to get a canopy (and it's hardly worth the wait imop).
Just shows you how slow MA are to do anything. Maybe they just do not have the financial resources to do so?
Cheers,

its easy to get things made in China , so many people , all you have to say is jump, moneys not that much over there , over here , its different , R&D , R&D and more R&D and then a few weeks of R&D. and yes Cash , it does take alot here in the USA when parts are made in the USA

I was one of the primary testers of this helicopter. I logged over 600 flights on a prototype machine and never experienced this issue. Clint Akins, Bobby Watts and Henry Caldwell also logged hundreds of flights without issue. Bobby was the first pilot who encountered this issue only a few weeks ago. Miniature Aircraft has already addressed this. Parts have been ordered and they will arrive at the factory soon. I suggest you wait about 3 to 4 weeks and call the MA shop to get the parts you need.
