My office chair for today was astounding. Allow me to set the scene:

3500MSL, 133kts, 3hrs into a 4hr total flight, RTB from a trip to Mobile to shoot a steam plant for Alabama Power. My office chair? Rich leather surrounded by a Bell 407. My entertainment? As this photo was taken, Crazy Train was piping into my Bose noise cancelling headset courtesy of TK101, the best radio station in the Gulf of Mexico. I had just finished downloading my photos into the craptop and began the sorting phase as we RTB'd. And yes, my shoes were kicked off and my feet were propped up in the leather chair across from me.

And to think, I could have shot the job from an RC heli.

nnnnnnnnnnnnnaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

It's too bad I couldn't make it down to San Diego to meet up with ya, but that's life. Got a new intership at a hospital hopefully starting.. and 4 tests in the next week:P Hope you'll come out again!

No prob Rhett. I called Gary on Monday but didn't get a hold of him either, so I missed seeing all you guys. It was much more of a work trip than I anticipated!

Yessir DJ!

Hey Scott, he was referring to a trip I made out to San Diego last week and the beginning of this week. I was hoping to get with a few AP'ers out there, but the trip turned out to be much more work than anticipated.

Tony, you know how it is...sometimes work is so consuming. :) As I rode along, I thought about those poor souls who have to ride in their personal 407's on daily commutes, and how tough it must be.

Tommy, yessir, that left seat with my laptop bag was all yours. Maybe next time eh? TC, rough ain't it?

Here's a shot of the bird I was in. I'd share photos of the project, but Ala Power rules preclude me from showing my work product.
