You have to split the frames Shawn But you have your thrustraced tail out of the box, lol

Hmmm that kinda sucks, I was hoping Lorents observation was true on the slide out bearing holder. I guess if you put it in that bad you'll be changing more than bearings anyways, lol. Still I hate spliting frames for ust main bearings.... Yea good on the cf tail and thrusted tail that is cool and decent...

I am guessing the new 600 will be in the 600-700USD range or can that be commented on??

Danny,
I can see your setup allready on that 600 Danny.... 620 VBlades, Actro 24-4 on 12S single stick FP 3700 mah, or (2) x 6S1P with a 8 or 9 tooth arrow pinion. Futaba 9451 or 9350 Servos and maybe a Logitec 6100 . GY611.... or possibly VStabi system throughout. Am I close? If not no worry, that is my vision for my 600 woot!!! :)

And some other facts from the rc-heli.de board:

Logo 600:
120 degree Swashplate
Tailtube mounting can mount tubes with 20-22-24 mm
Battery mount 5-12s LiPo
Tailrotor rotating during AR

Differences between the Logo DX and 3D

In addition to the DX the 3D has:
- Hardened shaft
- Tail with thrustbearing
- Thicker tailtube
- Different tailcase
- CFK tail linkage

Weight and rotordiameters:

Rotordiameter Weight Battery
500 DX 1150-1190mm 2,2Kg 5-6s
500 3D 1150-1190mm 2,2Kg 5-6s
600 DX 1250-1350mm 3,0Kg 6-10s
600 3D 1250-1450mm 3,2Kg 6-10s

Wow, that's the only difference between DX and 3D?
The 3D kit has a CF tail which looks pretty sweet.

Also, the canopies are different....and much better looking than the current ones I must say.

If the 500 will be a 6S machine as the L10 is and the 600 accomadates 12S having both makes sense to me, use the packs for both machines, have a park ripper and a total beast at will. I hope these machines will be available very soon. :lolol :smokin:

I just translated the post written by RV who was live at the tradeshow in Nuernberg. Other differences I see when looking at the highlights are:

Carbon fins
Lightweight 3D paddles
4mm high-grade steel flybar

You are close Shawn :) Think it will look like: 620 V Blades, 95mm V Paddles (4mm flybar baby) actro 24-4, 17 or 18t pinion (to get the headspeed, otherwise 24-3 and 13t pinion) 10s fp 3700, 9451, 611 or logic tec, dunno yet.. 95mm V tails

Oooops was thinking of Mod 1 gears on the pinions size, 10S still then Danny? I bet with the bigger front tail pulley this will auto "MUCH" better. Guess what else gets me real excited??

Tailtube mounting can mount tubes with 20-22-24 mm

The Boom for a Raptor is 22mm, which means if the pulley tooth count and belt tooth mod is the same we will be able to mount this Quick UK tail baby! That would make me happy indeed, stock will likely do but I would love to run this tail on my Logos!!

Great stuff from mikado, but I kind of hoped for a new 90 size from them.
I see you can put 600, 620 or 650mm blades on the 600 3D version. So will they be selling the 600 3D with different tailboom sizes or will the 600 3D be able to fit 650 mm blades out of the box?

love the new frame /canopy/maingear design.. however, my 10 3D flew so great.. I hope soon there will be upgrade kit for 10 to the 500. to using with fullsize servos

So... is the tail ratio the same or has the tail been slowed down a tad finally? What is killing me more is an answer on when will these be available to buy??

lowflyer there is an upgrade kit apparently that will be available for our existing logos, what is all in that kit I have no idea. But looking at pics from the toy fair a box shows the upgrades as an option. "see pic below".

Danny would you not go with the 90mm VPaddles for the 600 size? I was thinking of trying the 90mm V paddles as well since I run the 4mm flybar now, howver I can not find any data on what they weigh and if they will slow things down on roll rate compared to the stock ones....?

This is the Pod And Boom heli I have been waiting for.
Belt drive tail rotor driven in auto.
True ECCPM
non Carbon Frames
modular

OH HELL TO THE YES POWER.

Now if that trexx tandem will hurry up and get here, I will be set.

Does anyone know if there will be a battery tray for the front? Right now I have my batteries on the far edge of the tray for CG. If the new models are just as tail heavy, I'll be in trouble without some extension.

Man looks like Mikado isnt playing!!! the New canopy are HOT!!! cannot wait to get one of those 500 3d's :smokin: :smokin:

Shawn teh 90 V 's should slow the roll rate down as that is what i use to use now i run the Mikado 3d paddles i can get you a weight if you want as i have some right here
