As soon as I file my taxes I plan on getting me a micro, either it'll be the MSR or T-Rex 100. I know not much is known about the T-100 and I dont know much about the MSR except for what I read here. Im hoping that there will be tons of aftermarket parts like the Align helis. Im not sure which one to get the 100 or the MSR. Several things that the MSR has on its side is that it's bnf. Being a DX7 owner this is a huge plus for me. The msr has had its share of problems which seem to have been addressed by different hop ups. I hope the T-100 wont be plagued by all the Gremlins that the MSR has. So which should I get the msr or the T-Rex 100.

IMO the scale still tips toward the mSR or it's bigger brother (120). The mSR was my first heli and I still have a blast with it--- either indoors or on a calm late afternoon in my backyard.

For me, the BNF feature of the mSR is a huge plus. I can't stand having multiple TXs (especially toy ones) laying around. Mine is bound to my DX6i. In addressing the aftermarket options on the mSR, most are junk and honestly just add unnecessary weight. The bird will fly great out of the box, especially when bound to your DX7. With some expo and switch setups, you can have mild to wild at your fingertips. I've got throttle, D/R and expo options that are taylored for either indoor or outdoor flying.

Just my humble opinion...

With Blade announcing a FBL CP micro due out in mid-March I think Align missed the boat big time. See Horizon Hobbies. $219.00 RTF. I am canceling my 100 order.

I'm starting to think I'll get both anyway. The T100 just look's cool and will look cool next to my 250.
Eflites new Micro FLB CP will probably get flown more often then the 100. Both will be just as cool to own.

Yeah, how many 100 scale FP's are out? Out of the box FBL is going to ruin T-Rex sales. Smart move by Horizon.

But you know Horizon Hobby, in march they'll say the release date is in August...

My LHS had a Spektrum Guy demo fly the mCPx this morning in the small confined space. It is a real product. Ready for the market and not some Marketing hooha like the Trex100 a few months ago.

It will be released in March by all indications.

I don't know why some folks think ALIGN has goofed up by not making a CP version from the get go. They know the market better than we do, and by looks, not much R & D went into the 100, its merely a copy of the Nine Eagle Solo Pro II.
But I do think they too will make a micro CP, to go head to head w/the competion in both RTF and BNF. With their design team it will probably have a TT also. They know what they're doing.
