Hello,
Here is a flight from today with the Vbar Logo 10.
http://www.lojal.no/userfiles/Logo_10_vbar_2.wmv
There is some tail oscilation but thats because I set the tail gain with the older TP packs - when I put in the spiffy EVO pack the extra rpms makes it wag in some situations. I tried to reduce the throttle %age when flying with the EVO pack but it wasnt enough so I'll reduce the gain on the Vbar next time.
After the release of the new models I think I need a 600 Vbar! Just imagine how smooth and quiet it will be with the V-gear and no extra gear driving the tail :D

Nice! And that was the best lighting I have seen ever!!! Blue sky, sunny, reflections underneath from the snow.

Nice flying Lorents!! Yes the snow really does illuminate the heli from the bottom and make it show up nice.
Man this makes me want to try flybarless on one of my machines!!

Thanks guys!
I guess the extra lighting is the only advantage we have over the nice temperatures that you guys have :)
I love the Vbar, it works great. Ulrich is releasing a new firmware for it with electroning cyclic ring and some extra cool stuff in it. Here is the info from Ulrich:
It will be free, and include the following enhancements:
- Virtual Cyclic Ring
- Collective Bouncer
- Better Handling of Bank switching
- New Servotype for Tail (DS8700)
- Support for IC permitted Tail Sensor (not yet released)
- Enhancements in userinterface
The Collective Bouncer is an experimental Feature. It amplifies the Collective Stick movement in fast Coll changing figures like Tic Tocs. Since the Rotordisk without flybar is so silent, i searched for a method to get the same sound impression like before It compensates a bit for slow Servos...

Collective bouncer, cool that is like the 12/14mz collective pump option thingy they goit goin on, lol. This Vbar is looking better all the time. Would you say that it is now a easy setup Lorents or is it still a pretty time consuming and skilled setup? I admidt myself even being a tech junky I have avoided it as it seems pretty in depth and I want to spend more time this season flying and less tweaking... Nice vid, thank you for sharing with us. :)
BTW I still have 4 feet of snow and 20 below, worst winter ever here, have barely flown in months! ARG :arggg:

The setup is pretty easy I think. It will be a breeze for a skilled modeller like you. The reason it has taken so long time for me is mostly due to weather. Also, when flying something new I usually need 10-20 flights to get confident with it :)

... just noticed that this flight knocked out of the 200 teeth from the .5 gear. Guess its time to go herring-style or .7 :)
