With all this talk about how great the DX-7 is and how the 9C is so slow...

Is it the 9CHP & the 9CHP Super they are referring to?

What makes the 9CHPS, "Super"?

Thanks,
Gary

The 9c series in general is slower so both the 9c and 9CS

The super is the second generation of the 9c, it features more model memory and some upgrades to the software for example revo is disabled by defualt now, they added a mix to adjust the high and low pitch points by the sliders in flight, they added swash to throttle mixing that wont over drive your servo. The glider guys got flight modes and some other stuff.

Thanks Andy.

But if the 9C series is slow, why are they such a standard? You'd think if something was lacking on this model radio, it would have been addressed a while ago.

Slow is a relative term, its slower, and it only effects ccpm setups.

Gunner,
It is not slow that you will see it when flying. Look at some of Eric Larsons videos from couple years ago. He used a 9C for a few years. That is only radio Eric used till the 14MZ became available. Eric was flying eCCPM helis with the 9C.
All this latency stuff is being measured on an electronic oscilliscope. The average pilot is not going to notice any difference>
