Well guys ive been looking for a new heli for a couple months and it looks like its going to be a stinger 50 mainly for parts cost, at the price of frames I can afford to try the new tricks right on the ground! I want to know if you gohbee carbon fiber blades are worth the price and how they compare with the radix as far as 3d? Also is the plastic canopy paintable? Thanks

mx400, I used a scotchbrite pad to sand the canopy first. Then I used two coats of bulldog adhesion promoter. Then I used two coats of plastic primer. Then I painted with rustolem spray enamel. So far paint is staying on and is also flexable. I have the cf blades, but have not used them yet. jdavis

If you buy the kit the fiberglass canopy only adds $10.00 to the cost.
I only have a few flights on my Stinger with the Carbon fiber blades but I think they feel like the Mavrikk blades from HeliProz. I'm also running the metal head upgrade and the On-Edge pampeners. they make it preform a lot crisper.

the newest gohbee CF blades are strangely familiar, very, very similar to Radix blades in look 'feel' and pop. Actually to lay them side by side, the only difference is the stripes..

Mikeys is still intact, but has not flown in months... I've flown someone elses, that has a pretty aggressive setup. I might break down and get one.

You will be assimilated, resistance is futile.

I have not flown the radix blades to make a comparison to the Gohbee CF blades.
In comparison to MAH blades, the Gohbees are not quite as fast on cyclic but much better in autos.
I comparison to TT blades, the Gohbees are faster in cyclic and not quite as much hang time in the autos.

Yes the plastic canopies can be painted. Look at the bunches of how to threads on every site for painting plastic canopies, there all made out of the same stuff.
That is one of those question that you can ask 10 people and get 6 or 7 good methods that work well.
