Done some reading on these new BECs by Western Robotics, they look good indeed, think I am going to give one a go.

This one is about the same but can handle 13s.It is called the uberbec.

Found some new hv becs.I tried to go and buy the uberbec this weekend but they are sold out and do not know if they will be selling them anymore so I did a search and found three new becs out there that can go 10s and beyond :D

High Voltage BEC from16 to 30 cells / 10S

Your interest for the 18cells BEc last year made us recognize that a BEC for even higher input voltage was really desired by modellers. The expectations for such a BEC made by KONTRONIK would be high, that was clear from the very beginning: robust, safe and without additional noise for the receiver. here it is - Our BEC30

The output voltage of the BEC30 is 5,6V. That's more than the usual 5V, for better use of power and speed of your servos. It remains enough reserve from 6V, whichis the usual limit for receiver components.
The incredible peak current of 5A for 30s and 3A cont. current offers enough power up to 10 servos.
No botheringheat up due to switch mode power supply
Equipped with protections against reversal polarity, short circuit, overload and high temperature the BEC30 is nearly unbreakable

Yeah I talked to them today they said they are getting ready for testing.Once they get that done then they will release them.I found another supplier for the uberbec but it cost about 20 dollars more and they are coming from thailand. :smokin:

I was a beta tester for the demension engineering HV BEC.

It is switchable on the PCB for 5 or 6 volts, delivers 2.5 amps continious and weighs next to nothing. I have been running one on my Electric converted raptor 90 for more than a month with out the first glitch. I am buying two more as soon as the production is ramped up. (about two more weeks)
