HELP!!! :arggg: I have brought one of these Can anyone tell me which connections go where in the receiver, the instuctions that came with it a very vague. The receiver is numbered 1-6 and the throttle is one the right stick of the transmitter. I have included some pics. Any help would be great. THANKS

Not much info around on those Rx. I think you will have to do a little empirical detective work. Since it is a 6-channel ParkFlyer Rx it doesn't have a dedicated battery connection, it assumes you will be using an ESC which will supply the battery voltage on the throttle channel, probably channel 1.
1) Turn on your Tx
2) Plug a servo into position 1
3) Plug a 4.8V Rx battery into position 6
4) Move your Tx controls one axis at a time until you find which channel drives position 1.
5) Repeat the process moving the servo to a new position each time.
6) When you have done positions 1 to 5, move the Rx battery plug to position 1 and then do position 6.
Odds are they have copied the channel sequence from Futaba,/Hitec or JR so if you look those up it might help you out...OK here they are:
Futaba/Hitec
========
1 Aileron
2 Elevator
3 Throttle
4 Rudder
5 Gear
6 Aux
JR/Spektrum
========
1 Throttle
2 Aileron
3 Elevator
4 Rudder
5 Gear
6 Aux
Let us know what you find.

Sorry should have put question better. It says it is a futaba type. What i need to know is where toput each servo & gyro & esc.

ESC goes into Throttle = 3 (preferable with a ferrite core)
Gyro goes into Rudder = 4 (and rudder servo connects to the gyro)
Gyro gain (if you have it) goes into the Gear channel (5)
Pitch servo goes into 6
Aileron goes into 1
Elevator servo goes into 2
If you are asking which servo around the swash is which function then elevator will be the one attaching to the ball at the front or back of the swash plate. Aileron and Elevator will attach to the balls 120deg around from the elevator ball. I cannot tell which is which, you will have to try and perhaps swap them if the swash doesn't move the right way.
What Tx is that, does it support 120deg CCPM ? You should watch the Finless TRex 450SE setup videos called CCPM1 and CCPM2. Even though the heli is different and yours is not a computer radio, it will help demystify the process of setting up a CCPM heli/radio. You are going to have to play around a bit with the servo directions and channels to get the swash moving the right way.

Thanks. I will try that. This is the control, I have seen identical ones on net that have differant brand names.

Tried your advice and looks prommising. Those video's will be damn handy as i had none of this sort of info and would have probably trashed my heli first time tried to fly it. I think with these and a little help from the local RC club and i sould be up and flying soon. Thanks again for puttin me onto those vid's and to everyone else who take's the time to help those who are new to heli's sort out the headache's that such a small thing can creat. THANK YOU

Oops - there is typo there. It should say:
Elevator - ball on the front or back of the swash
Aileron and Pitch - the other balls, 120deg around from the elevator ball

If your's is a blackhawk like mine or very similar try Helihobby.com they have parts for a nitro blackhawk but alot of the mechanics are the same as the electric.

I would like to share these photos with you.. :)
I am having fun in engine break-in for my 500 GP now as well as the swashplate which is not exactly level , ( I had a little crash during breakin because of the uneven plate level when the pitch is getting higer )
just trying with different length of those servo arm linkages. :arggg:
I found that I have to use some spacer for tail servo installation for both 500 and 450, to avoid the tail push rod being bend outward.

I also just recieved my new kit with next to zero instruction but after some digging I have found a couple of items that may help anyone with this Black Hawk 450 or Suprex 450 both are the same.
This link is to the radio manufacture the english translation is horrid but after a bit you can get the drift.

If I can figure out how to attach a file I also have the set up instructions in a PDF

Hi all, I have the same BH model, the one with the blue servo's! Got it from Revolution Shop based in Oz, I believe. I took mine to an experienced scale heli pilot who holds lessons on setup. The first thing he told me was to get rid of the TX & Receiver ! I invested in a new, but entry level Futaba 6EX 2.4ghz FSST TX & Futaba receiver for around £100, it has the right mode setting too (throttle on left) for me as the Turborix one did not! He thinks the model seems to be at a good level of build, and has configured the and programme the TX during our first lesson, unfortunately it was wet outside so we could not test. I have however been using Phoniex RC Flight sim with the Futaba TX and using a 450 T-Rex model, I've gotten pretty good a flying in the sim, anyone tell me if it really does help with flying a real model and if it is just similar or totally different? Waiting for some dry wheather here in the UK, so I could be waiting a while to actually try my BH ! :)

Update : Had mine setup by Nigel Fraser http://fraserker.com/helilessons/ we took about 30 mins wondering what was wrong as it was behaving oddly, I apparently had set the 6EX to the wrong stick type when messing around in Phoenix RC Sim ! After that it was all plain sailing, he run her up, put her down, mark one of the blades, put her down, adjusted one of the aileron linkages, (I presume to balance the blades) then it was running perfectly! Stable as anything, even with a very light breeze. I even had a 5 mins hover 2 or 3 inches up ! Apparently I was keeping the tail down to low, hence all the grass marks on the tail rotar! Over the next 3 days I manged 4 or 5 succesfull hoovers, 10 - 15ft in my back yard and starting to get used to turning! The 6EX is working great! Now considering which Nitro to buy ! Any recommendations for next size up Nitro for me please?
