Just curious if any of you that have the DX6 are having problems right out of the box? once set to HE all the servos still don't work. i think i am just making it worse the more i tinker with the radio. i have reset it, but still same problem. ELE servo doesn't even move ELE does but pitch doesn't, but the pitch will move with throttle up but the ELE wont. and the ELE wont with throttle up either.

sorry i am very new to digital radios so this is all Egyptian hieroglyphics to me

i know I'm probably missing something that is a simple fix, but just wanting to know if i am alone here.

Thanks in advance

Joe

How do you guys like the DX7 over the DX6? is it worth the extra buck? i have no problems taking this DX6 back and exchanging it for a DX7 :D

Moto have you performed the Bind procedure? This tells your Rx to listen to your Tx. You should have a special plug. I'm not 100% of the process on the DX6. On the DX7 you insert the bind plug into an unused channel on the RX (or charge jack if you have the switch installed), DANGER ensure your wires TO the motor are disconnected and cannot short out. If you have a reciever pack or other battery source you can use to power the RX do that.

Set all switches/controls on the TX where you want them to be if the link is lost. Press and hold the bind switch on the back of the TX and power on the TX. Hold the bind button in until the RX light stops blinking and goes solid. Test.. you should be able to move the servo's.

Note: I've read that only the throttle is saved for the AR6000. I don't know first hand and have not researched this. Refer to your manual for the most accurate information.

Hope that helps.

Thanks jerm

According to the DX6 manuel its already BIND from the factory?, should i do it again?

however i did go through this http://www.helifreak.com/viewtopic.php?t=12455 to help set it up and so far so good, at least getting closer. i will check it and then check it again, and i think it helps me recognize my radio better as well.

i had to take a break from it for a while to make dinner but once back at the work bench ill continue
