Hi All, It is full force winter here, so looking ahead to finishing my Magnum build with blade size! I have put an OS70 in it and I just sport fly, and I have no idea what size main blades to use. Any suggestions for the best size to use? No 3d for me..........

With the OS 70, 690's should run just fine, especially of the V-Blade variety.

Make sure you get 14/4's, and have fun with it.

And I'd bet he'd be prompt with a set of V's if you give him a call. They had some 810's for me.

Better holler at Vic for those, we don't have much call for 690's.....

Can a set of 14/5 blades be adapted to use with 4mm blade bolts? I already have a set and wonder if tube adaptors are OK. Or any reason why not? Cheers from the frozen North,

yes...if you feel comfortable pushing out the 5mm inserts and putting in a set of 4mm ones you can call V-blades and ask them send you a set of them...if you don;t feel comfortable doing the job just send the blades back to V-blades and they will do it for you...most likely for free...

Greg's right. It's easy to do if you use caution and make sure you're pressing them straight.

An adapter can be used as well. They are commonly found in blades such as NHP. Use a 4mm ID, 5mm OD brass tube.

I guess that would be the easy route

Thanks, I thought I could but just wanted to make sure the adaptors were available. Any ideas on sources to buy just the adaptors?
Thanks,
Vincent

We use brass tubing, cut to size....

NHP blades comes with the adapters.
