For sim compatibility treat the DX6 like a JR.

1) Choose your sim (FMS, ClearView, Phoenix, Reflex/XTR. RealFlight/G3.5)

2) For FMS or ClearView, get a USB sim cable, I got mine from here: milehighwings.com. For the others, they all come with a JR cable anyway, but check to be sure when ordering.

3) Create a fresh model on your DX6 with no sub-trims, no trims, no D/r, no expo, linear curves.

4) Be sure to turn OFF your DX6 before plugging in the sim cable. WHen you plug it in the Tx will turn itself on *without* power to the RF module (much lower battery drain). If the power switch is ON you won't get signals sent to the sim cable and it won't work.

5) Use the Tx calibration feature in the sim to calibrate your Tx. Now you can add expo or D/R to your Tx if you like.

6) Fly, Fly Fly

Hi kgfly,
I am still unable to use my dx6 with my G3.5 sim. I have no throttle but seem to have all other controls. I not sure how to set up mapping, I have tried but to no avail. Not sure what channel goes to what stick control?

Thanks for any help.
