My HS-50 tail rotor servo died today. :arggg: Fortunately it gave me plenty of warning and I got my Shogun safely on the ground. :banana

Has this happened to anyone else or can I chalk it up to a random failure and put another HS-50 in its place? What about the HS-56, is it any better?

Thanks,

Bob

I had a fairly new (3 flights in the Zoom) HS-55 go tango uniform. It was on the elevator. It made the landing very interesting. Somehow I managed it without breaking anything!

Well, since my LHS didn't have anything better I got another HS-50. This one seems stronger than the last so perhaps it was bad out of the box.

My HS50 died before it even made it to the first flight. I was setting up the heli and it just plain ole' hung up.....

I put a Ciruss (sp) on it and it worked great ! speed was HS50 = .09; Ciruss = .11, not enough differenct to matter on the Shogun.
