Make sure your low needle is out several turns..... around 3.... for starters.... see that the carb is drawing fuel. Recheck glow plug.... new ones have been known to be bad out of the package.

I have two OS32's and they are wonderful engines.... smooth and dependable.

Hi Rick, make sure your engine isn't flooding. If you pull the plug is it sopping wet? Is there fuel comming out of you muffler? Flooding can be caused by a couple of things(maybe more) You're engine could be set too rich on the needles. Also if you don't clamp the fuel line right before the engine the fuel can slowly drip into the engine and soak things. Does the starter have a difficult time turning the engine over?

If you use a remote glow, make sure that it's not broken. Pull the plug out, connect it to your remote glow line, touch the body of the plug to the engine and apply your glow battery, is the wire inside the plug glowing?

Occasionally a new plug will be bad also, try another one if you can.

Engines need 3 things to run, fire fuel and air, make sure you have all three right off the bat.

If you can and maybe unsure... set all the needles on the carb back to factory... the book tells you how... I know when I got mine I had to do that cause I kept playing with it.

Did it start before. I saw you said it was new but have you run it before with no problem?

The reason for my low needle valve comment:

I recently changed brands of nitro and decided to start from scratch on reseting my needle valves. I closed both high and low valves and opened them up to factory specks, but it still wasn't drawing fuel to crank... ended up opening the low needle to around 3 turns..... which I thought was way too much, but it liked it, drew fuel and runs great.

Sar, my friend, you are absolutely correct. Sometimes we forget to check little things that can bite us in the backside.

Now, if I can just burn a few gallons of fuel without crashing !!! :wow2:
