How much tape is too much?

Hello one and all,

I have just balanced my first set of blades, their CG was spot on but one blade needed quite a bit of tape to balance them, probably 3 to 4 complete wraps of tape on the CG line, is this too much? Does it matter how much tape you put on?

Would it have been better to put tape on the tip, then add a bit of tape to the other blade to match the CG's again?

I think that is too much.

My blades balance with no more than one wrap of tape. And most are balanced out of the package.

Use wider tape. :)
