Coming to a mailbox near you! With the HeliFreak logo!

I propose a rectangular, fabric surface pad. Vote for your prefered size and thickness, please.

I like em small... Most of the pads I own are 7 x 6. But hey, by all means, I'll get whatever you guys decide on.

I didn't vote. I'd most likely buy whatever was available.

I voted 8x9.5 and 1/4" thick, but if they could be offered in a larger size that would be great, I always seem to run off the pad when using CAD.

Clickified my choice, but as I'm in need of a new one here at home, I'd probably opt for whatever comes available.

Where was the hoodie option? :)

Where's the Tx neck straps???

Signed here really. It's nice to see that new stuff if coming but old very demanded (as i could see) stuff remains unresolved :(

Anyway to the mouse pads :

300-320mm width x 250-270mm length and 2mm thick made from anodized aluminium with rubber base so it won't slip. Would this be possible?

POLL results are about equall split between thicknesses of 1/8" and 1/4". Perhaps a supplier will let me "split" a run - I'll see.

I'm going to cut the side of samples I have coming. I want to see if I can just order a large size pad with an undesize logo and let you cut them to the size you prefer. I've been warned by a supplier that the cut edge may fray, so I'm going to see if CA will seal the cut edge. I'll bet some of you do have a little CA, if it comes to that ;-)

I've had some embroidery shops refuse to do the straps. I believe it has to do with the thickness of the strap material requiring special set-up. I'm headed out this afternoon to visit more and smaller shops - perhaps a smaller embroiderer will be more adaptable.

When it comes to "one-off" personalization, it will have to be a local embroiderer because of the logistics - take it there and pick it up.

Point taken re unresolved.

Mouse pads:

That's nearly 12" x 10" and a only a little over 1/16" thick! Anodized aluminum? Sounds more like a display stand than a mouse pad. Sure, most anything is "possible" - the Large Hadron Collider is going to make mini "black holes"! What you want would be very custom, so you would have to make it yourself or have it made locally.

The thing is i only have no idea if you can do alu mousepads in multi-colors (i highly doubt actually). Rest of the stuff :

That's what i currently have. Once you game on aluminium, you never want to go back to anything else (glass would do i guess)...

Speaking of glass... Steelseries used to glass ones. It wasn't entirely see through glass if you know what i mean. I think it would be possible to somehow put helifreak logo under that plate and add some rubber pad so it won't be slipping around the desk. I remember these were somewhat quite popular at some point, later replaced with mentioned metal ones.

Yes i know i am demanding :D. Just bringing ideas tho.

On the note of neckstraps i am happy to hear about progress. Progress in not that favorable way is still progress!

Samples are in. I'll try the "cut-n-CA" process tomorrow. If that works, we're on our way to "one size fits (nearly) all".
