For fast charging:
If it is a sealed lead acid battery use a very low charge rate. Overheating during charging can swell the battery case and cause damage.
For example a 7Ah battery charge at 1.75 amps max.
If it is a large automotive type lead acid or a marine deep cycle type a much highercharge rate can be used without any issues.
for example a 700 Ah battery can be charged at 70(not on a triton though).
For slow charging:
A low rate of .6 amps for a small seald lead acid battery is best.
A rate of 2-5 amps for the larger automotive or marine batteries.

Do you have any idea how BIG a 700 AH battery is? A normal car battery is about 50 - 60 AH. The cold cranking rate is the equivalent of C rating on a lipo, it tell syou have many amps it can supply at max discharge rate, it is NOT a capacity.
A car or merine deep cycle can easily be charged at 10 - 15 amps. In a car after starting the alternator can charge at up to 50 - 60 amp rates.

well, while you guys go down that rabbit hole, the answer is 'about 700mA' for hobby size
lead batteries.
Do NOT discharge or cycle the battery.
The battery voltage is a reasonable estimate of state of charge between 12v and 13v
