Ok well let me start by saying thank you in advance...

Recently i was asked by my supervisor to continue a project that was forgotten about 2 years ago..
Honestly i will be just happy if i can get it started
I currently have a .60SportTrainer that was crashed before the project was "trashed"

but before finalizing the project all the replacement parts were ordered, New Tail Boom, All C-fiber chasi parts, C-fiber props,
I replaced all the parts since then. but was unable to locate the original Motor.. i got ahold of some guys at Rick's RC heli, and they talked me into a YS60 motor, ive got about $600 in parts on order right now,

but the re problem is that i have no clue about the wiring of the servo's
i see the receiver has numbered slots but im stumped on which servo plugs where.. Anyone willing to help with pics of the wiring Id be in Debt to you forever..haha

is there a differance in the Black and Blue connectors?

I also have a Bergen Observer that is all there just needs a couple replacement parts put back on, but the Observer is going to wait until i can get this ST up and running.

Thanx again, A.J.

which brand of receiver is it? it makes a difference as to what goes where. What transmitter do you have?

where are the black and blue connectors? On the end of the servos? which model servo's have the blue connectors?

Your best bet would be to track down the nearest local flying field that has someone experienced with helies.
Just from the questions that you asked, unless you get hands on help, there is a very slim chance that you will get more than a few seconds in the air before the heli turns back into a kit. Hopefully with no one getting hurt.

We will try to help you as much as possible from here.

The first thing that you need is a simulator to teach yourself how to fly. One crash will easily pay for the simulator. My preference is realflight.

To try to answer your questions we need more info.
What brand and model of transmitter, receiver, and servos do you have. It makes a difference how it all goes together.

I would have recommended the aluminum stacked frames like were originally on the mode. I also would have recommend some less expensive wood blades till you learn to fly. You have spent a lot of money. I would search out some experienced help even if you have to drive an hour or so. There is a lot of heli pilots in the Pheonix area.
Do not try to fly the heli till someone checks it out. Some experienced help will save you a lot of money.

Ok im back... yeah well first of all this is all Project money.. and weather it flys or not is the least of my worries right now.haha i just want it to turn on and the servo's to work properly

Transmitter - Airtronics - Stylus PCM200
Receiver - Sanwa - PCM200 RX8129 40mhz
Gyro - Futaba - GY401 S.M.M. Rate Gyro

Servo's
Throttle - Airtronics - 94322
Rudder - Futaba - 59253
Roll - Airtronics - 94322
Elevator - Airtronics - 94322
Collective - Airtronics - 94322

whille i was out looking at the stuff a little bit ago i found a motor,
OS- 50 SX-H Ring
should i use this motor or go with the YS60 i have on order?

and yeah i know where there is a airfield here in Yuma, i will try to get over there soon to see if i can talk to someone..

Well first. You can not use 40mhz here in the USA legally to control a model. You need to be on 72 mhz, 50 or 53 mhz with amatuer radio license. Or 2.4 ghz.

I would not use the 50 size motor in the heli. It needs the 60 size.
Here is the Stylus manual
http://www.airtronics.net/Stylus%20Manual-Helicopter.pdf

Throttle Channel 1
Aileron( left right cyclic) Channel2
Elevator channel 3
Rudder channel 4
Gyro Channel 5
Collective Channel 6

Well just don't carry the model to a local flying field and expect to be able for someone to help you fly it on 40mhz.

Seems the Army would get someone that knows how all this stuff goes together.
Nothing against you. Just would seem logical if it was test equipment the Army would want someone experienced operating it. I know several pilots that work for the government contractors and military flying basically models of all types.

Honestly thats a good question.. i think its just "Busy work" until something else comes along to do...

I already have a Simulator Program and have been using it every day...

...buy a 72MhZ Airtronics Rx and get the help you need to get it going...Once it's up & running you can replace the 72Mhz Rx with the 40MHz Rx for your "program work"...Changing the Rx won't change the set-up of the machine.

Ill let you work out the legal end of your radio..

back to your questions.
the 50 will fly it.,.. not well but it will fly it, i suggest the 60 you have on order

what are you guys doing with this thing anyway?? or is it secret squirrl?
