Ok, I have purchased the shogun v2/3dx400 upgraded heli and a Futaba 6exh radio. I still do not have the gyro (getting the gy401). Anyways the RX that the radio came with has 6 places to plug in servos. Channel 6 on the radio is for the pitch but on the RX it says B/6 I assume this is for the battery as well. With everything plugged in all the spots will be taken. How does the RX get power?

Next question, The heli came with a brushless motor (outrunner 3200 KV) I know not great but it is what I have and plan to learn with for now. It also came with this speed controller...

Probly also not great but it is what I have for now.

I need a suggestion for a battery to power the motor using this speed controller.

last here is a pic of what I have so far....

Sorry, not familiar with that heli but:

* Rx gets its power via the Throttle lead from the ESC. All the + and all the - pins on the Rx servo positions are in parallel so the power can be supplied via any of them.

Looks like you want a 3S (11.1V) lipo but not knowing the heli I cannot say what capacity. If it is the size of a TRex 450 (~325mm blades) then 1800-2200mAh is the appropriate range.
