I have a new cellpro 4s charger and a tp adapter for it. I just put power to the charger then pluged the tp 2100 prolite into the adapter. I get safety code 28. I push to reset but it goes back to code 28. can some one help?

In my Cellpro book. Code 28 is :

28 Pack detect failed
Cheak individual cell voltages (Each must be above 0.5v). Ensure all node wires are properly connected to cells, and black (pack - ) node wire is properly connected. Ensure battery ground is not connected to power source ground. Charger may be wet.
A123 pack drained to 0v may have damaged cell.

That is code 28. Just got my 2 yesterday. So It could be in the Tp connector of something may be damaged on battery. Do you have anoter battery with TP type conenctiong (or another near by flyer) that could try the same type of battery? IF the same type, but a diffrent battery were to work then it would point back at the current battery that is failing.
Let us know what you find, when a solution is found.

heres a quote from zx11 that fixed the problem for me.

Mine did this too at first. You are in A123 charge mode but charging a Lipo. You need to cycle the charge modes to the next mode by holding the button in until it reaches LiPo 1C.

thank you very much....zx11
