Anyone know the top speed for a blade CPP (non brushless) FFF ?

Around 30 MPH with a 3 cell lipo. It seems to go faster, but it is pretty small and hard to judge accurately.

ya, dat's bout it, depends also, if ur coming out of a dive, starting from a hover, wind, pitch setup, battery, weight etc. i think 30mph is coming out of a dive.

cool, let us know. Are you running brushless?

OK, got it done took 15mins to get the guys (motorcycle cops) a chance to target it, seems they are not so good on fast moving small helis... lol, I ended up taking advantage of a mounted rear radar unit on a patrol car. I did 3x Heli drag type runs, spooled up to 100% throttle (idle up 2), tilted heli forward, and shot down the runway. Top speed recorded was 32mph on 3rd run, 1st and 2nd runs were 30 & 31mph. My heli is in the gallery, she is brushless running 3100kv outrunner, 1050 fullymax 20c 3cell, 20A e-flight esc, +12/-12 pitch, tail is GWS GW/IPS-DX2BB-A this cost 15.oo with 7x6 prop took just a bit of grafting, I'm using EF HH gyro, JR6U RX, Medusa 6v3A sbec, 3x HS56, Futaba 7chp, for the main blades I cheat a bit I cut Trex 315pro woods cut to 255mm cuz they are cheep to make. So I am sure a stock BCP/BCPP will run about 20-25mph max drag race style. I figured coming out of a dive wouldn't be fair so I settled for drag race runs (what a rush). I was excited to see my new tail hold perfectly! I will post shots of the runway soon.
