Looking at forthcoming the XPS 2.4ghz module for the futaba 9C:
The ariel appears to be part on the Tx module....therefore rendering the existing tx ariel redundant whilst also making it difficult to place the tx on a surface. Also, is there enough power transmitted through the module port to power a full range transmitter?? Am i correct in this observation?

Plenty of power for the TX module. Your old antenna becomes redundant and you can leave it off. The telemetry module (when available) is made to plug into the old antenna hole. If you'll have the cajones to look down while your flying you can read the sensor feeds :shock:
