Haven't seen it fly, but one of my flying buddies has one and isn't impressed. I have the ultimate bipe foamy and haven't had time to get it flying. Hope to get it in the air by next weekend..... it looks promising.

Zak...Ive have people around me that has mixed emotions about it. A buddy of mine has one whith a Himax 4100 and CastleCreations 25 and he says its not enough 3D for what he thought it was going to do... On the other hand you would probably be better off with the Ultimate for 3D. George Hicks...the designer of them lives here in Savannah.... Maybe we can get him to come to Clints house if he EVER has another invasion there? George is almost ready to get into Helis pretty soon so that might give him a boost.
Heres the ultimate...

H to the C gave me his, so I would say it was not the best suited for HARD 3D. It is a real floater and anyone that is buying a first foamie or wanting to get into foamies should LOVE it. Very forgiving. Stuff happens a lot slower with it than some of the hotter foamies. It is also relatively large and easy to see. I have 2. :)

Like Bart says, George Hicks lives here in Savannah (He works as an aerodynamicist with me at Gulfstream Aerospace). Goerge won the Electric TOC this year and is an Incredible 3D Plank flyer

I have built a Tribute and have an Ultimate in the works. George claims the Tribute is a 3D Trainer and admits the roll rate is slower than the Ultimate. Mine flys OK although the gear breaks off too easy.

The Ultimate is the Hot Rod ... they are really good kits though. For $45 its worth a try.

They are definitely good for the price. HC, Zak and a few others have the Ultimate and they all love it. :)

Zak...
If you want a cheaper servo... George has been useing the GWS pico servos and he is getting all of us into it. They are about 6$ cheaper than the Hitecs.
