this doesnt sound right.... sorry. maybe you can elaborate.
I looked into buying a few GSR's about 18 months ago. I contacted JR and was told then anyone buying them for sale in the US must go through Horizon. I called and spoke to Debbie at Horizon and she informed me that it was true and that they supply the inventory of ships and parts for the current US distributor and that I could do it as well but the minimum order was more than 4.
Have things changed since then? How exactly are you pulling this off? If it's true you'll be getting some resistance from the current US distributor of the GSR.
in any case.... do tell how you are doing this? I'm dying to know.

If you can really get this heli and the parts, I bet you'll be getting lots of orders. While I'm not in the market for a heli, I would love to see someone else finally carry this heli. Maybe the monster is finally coming down!

yep.... sooner than he realizes too.
also... word on the street is a company in asia is copying his mount design(s) and will be selling them for 1/3 to 1/2 the cost. No word on how true the rumor is but it doesn't surprise me. look at what happened with all the electric heli's that came out over the last couple years... they were cloned and are now being sold from asia.

Hey DJ, is this machine a better AP platform than the Vario? Why or why not if you don't mind elaborating? Maybe a PM or another topic is in order for this one as I don't want to disrupt this topic...
Seems you really like this one though.

Love the helicopter. Hate the US distributor.
that said... I'd never own another gasser again. I've switched to E-power and love the smooth vibe free platform they provide for front mounted aerial video.
