HELP! needed with min titan!

I have a mini titan


Can anyone help with this??
I have about 2mm up and down play on the main shaft, if I get someone to push the rotor down when i tighten the bottom setscrew it kind of clicks and pushes the main shaft up as it tightens....
it says in the instructions that there should be no play so I dont know what to do.

Also the red flap damper thingys that go in the rotor hub, I cant seem to get them to to push in far enuf so as to make them flush. Then when I put the main rotor pitch housing on the gap between THEM and the main rotor hub is not even and i am worryed that this will effect the heli when flyin, From what I can make out it would make one blade about 1.mm longer then the other.

apart from these two probs I am very much enjoying building my first ever heli!
any help and advice would be great.

I don't have any up and down play in my main shaft. I do have a tiny bit of up and down play in the gears, but its very small and hasn't caused me any problems yet. I would tighten the bottom collar first, then while pushing up from the bottom of the main shaft, push down and tighten the top collar.

Did you use silicone on the dampers before putting them in the head? This usually makes them easier to get in. I would have to double check my head to see if they stick out at all, but from memory I think they are flush or extremely close.
