Hi there all.

I am new to LiPos and need some guideance.

If a LiPo pack is 2100Mah, then 1C is 2.1A, and a 2200Mah pack is 2.2A? Is this correct?
LiPo packa should be charged at no more than 1C. Is this correct?
Is there anything special that needs to be done when charging a brand new pack (lower charge rate, etc.) or do I just charge it at 1C?
Is there any special way the new pack should be "used" for the first few charges (only discharged to a certain percentage, etc.)? ie. do they need to be "run in"?
If my charger has a temperature cutoff setting, what should I set this temperature to?

Any other advice or HOW TO's that you can point me to.

TIA

Darryn

1C is correct. For new packs, it appears that a break-in period is required for longer life, make flights of 3-5 minutes, and recharge.
Temp settings are usually around 160F for cutoff.

Another tip: consolodate your questions into one post, not everyone has time to answer everything.. Would not want you to portray the image of an impatient person.

Don't forget to use a LiPo balancer with your packs :!:

Thanks guys.

For how many charges should I run the packes for 3-5 min until I can use their "full capacity"?
