Ok...
I've modified the Dolphin heli to try to simulate my TRex 450 since I haven't found a 450 yet that works well. I got mine tweaked by increasing the headspeed, and altering the collective an cyclic pitch values...it's now more sensitive/twitchy like mine...BUT... I can't get the piro rate up... I've tried changing the tail settings like ratio but I can't figure it out.... it either does nothing or causes wobble.
Any ideas?
Switch to a different heli - I use that one also and it does not seem to respond to tail changes - normally you just make the blades longer and use more pitch

Sigh....
ok... Do you know also is it possible to switch the motor type from OS to electric? I go to pick motor and it only shows combustion engines...
I guessI will switch to something else... it's just this is one of the ones that feels closer to size/wt...
I have not tried that (Engines)
I think we need to change the gearing to the tail to make it turn faster

The gyro controls the piro rate!
You have to edit the helicopter.
Go to: Aircraft / Edit
Then: Electronics / Heading Hold Gyro / Heading Hold Rotation Rate
Adjust to preferred rotation speed. (degrees pr second)

That was it! THanks a ton.
Of course now I'ved decided to go back and just tweak the TREX 450 MicoHelis one someone posted to make it more like mine...but it's good to understand how to tweak all this stuff.
Thanks! :)

I posted this in the trex 450 thread, but do you guys know how to change winshield color and transparency? I've altered my trex model someone made but I can't figure out how to alter the winshield color from this light blue they have to black...

from what i understand about doing CSs (color schemes) for G3.
the wind shield is clear or transparent .
to modify the color of a transparent windshield or what ever.
you need and paint program thats able to change the alfa layer.
couldnt actually tell ya what the alfa layer is as i didnt find it yet.
there is a buttload of info on the G3 forums about CSs.
might want to check there for detailed info
i saw your CS.....looks great

Yeah I know about alpha etc... hmmm what's weird tho is the image I have doesn't seem to control the winshield at all.. i mean was far as color goes..so i am thinking in this case the image it is using is something else... weird. I may try playing with the alpha channel tho...thanks.
