Thanks

I went the inside route and it turned out very nice! This is a great canopy for $30 and about $12 in paint it looks great and takes some of the crash cost fear away as well.

I painted mine from the inside. Pretty hard to paint any kind of design doing it that way. Tight quarters in their. Outside would work great with the right paints, but you would have to clear coat it to get the same shine.

You did a good job it looks great. :glasses2: The good thing about painting the inside in dont have to worry about scuffing the paint.

Well I have been racing nitro trucks for awhile and just wanted to say you should paint the lexan canopys from the inside. If you paint them from the inside you can seal the paint with a tough finish paint like white and then you won't have to worry about scratching your paintjob when you knick it with something. Here is a good link so you can figure out the details.http://www.ifi.unicamp.br/~epiovani/lexan.htm
I recommend parma faskolor

I did mine on the inside also. A little tricky using multiple colors some of mine bled throug each other but a lot of fun and a learning experience. Lot of diffrent things vs. painting from the outside.

Mudbogger it looks great. I really like the idea of painting my own, and it's allot cheaper!
