I just wanted to take the time to say hello to everyone on the forum. I am brand new to this great hobby/skill. I have been flying for all of about 2 months at the most. Started with cheap toys and then moved to the mSR. Pretty much got it down in a couple of days and thought it would be a great idea to move up to the SR. This of course is a completely different animal altogether. A bit over my head but loving the challenge. Crashed right away but with the greatness of HeliFreak I learned how to take apart and repair my head assembly in no time. Still landing quite hard everytime out but learning more every chance I briefly take to the air. Thanks for all the great post and videos. Looking forward to my future as a RC heli pilot.

Welcome! Hope you enjoy being a part of Helifreak.

If you haven't already, check out Finless Bob's Basic Vids (http://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=41692) in his Tech Room.

There's a great basic hover flight tutorial School of Rotary Flight (http://www.dream-models.com/eco/flying-index.html) which I highly recommend.

There is a wonderful RC Heli Wiki (http://www.rcheliwiki.com/Main_Page) that you may find useful.

Another great learning resource is RCHelicopterfun (http://www.rchelicopterfun.com) by John Salt

Look forward to seeing you post in the Main Forum!

Enjoy!
