I just installed a new brushless motor in my CP2 and that is all working fine but I am not getting any lift. with the motor unplugged I am getting full 10* pitch in both positive and negative but when the head is spinning I don't get any lift. I even held it in my hand and didn't even feel any air blowing down. I Already checked to make sure it wasn't a sticky collective and I have never had a problem with it in the past. I bought the brushless setup because my stock motor just gave out a few days ago and it started to take full power to hover on the last pack and then it finally gave out. And before anyone asks it is turning the right way.
Any help would greatly be appreciated.

look at the servos to see if they move, if not, you got urself a sticky collective, it only shows up when the head is loaded, ur just lucky that the heli didn't jump up. how's the headspeed?

Paddels are good, servos are moveing and headspeed is beter than before.

Blades should be spinning clockwise when viewed from above.

Just a thought but are the blades installed the right way? I mean they can be turning the right way, servos working fine, lots of power but if there backwards then maybe that could be it? I had to ask so dont send me hate mail

Pitch curves are linear, blades are on the right way and the head is spinning clockwise.
I am just about ready to order a CNC head becouse becouse I am tired of messing with it.

Let me know how the cnc head works for ya. I was thinking of buying one myself.

I will try to save ya some cash, try graphite lube like for Pinecar derby wheels on slider hub, or Order the e-sky honeybee CP rotor hub assembly, it has a much better slider and is under 9.oo at www.helidirect.com http://www.helidirect.com/product_info.php?cPath=38_66&products_id=699
I ordered this it came with the slide (not shown) the only other items I use are the metal flybar ring (not needed had to use extended metal balls from my HB3Dpro) stock flybar ring works fine and the HDX300 main gear w/oneway (makes for very smooth negitive pitch decends & allows autos). Post a photo of your head assembly, showing swash and mixers...

I have the same problem with my cp2, but mine started when I replaced the entire head with one from a barebones kit, I checked absolutely everything before realising that the feathering shaft was bent, I don't know if this is what is causing my lack of lift ( the new one is on its way so I haven't been able to test it) but it was the only thing I could find that was out of the ordinary. I am new to the hobby so I don't know if a bent feathering shaft would have this negative effect, but if you crashed when your motor died it might be worth a look.
