Just built my new SE and started setting up the bird with the DX 7... When I set up the elevator servos ..the one on the right side of the SE doesn't move as far as the one on the left so the swash is pulled more to one side than the other.... can't figure out how or where to go to fix this problem.. I've tried about everything and can't get it figured out... :arggg: ..please help if you have a solution.. Thanks..

You'e got the servos plugged into the wrong channels. Follow the instructions in the radio manual and then set the reversing switches so that when you move the throttle stick the swashplate either goes up or down uniformily with stick motion. When you get that to work you can then go into the swash page and reverse any function you need to by making the appropriate value either a positive or negative value depending on which one it needs to be.

The crazy thing is that when you move the throttle stick up all three servos move the same amount like they're supposed to..

Do you have your servo travel set to equal (100%) travel at all channels?

The servo travel is set to 100%... this is about to drive me crazy... Everything else seems to be working correctly except the one servo on the right of the bird.. I've tried the swash mix.. doesn't seem to work.. :arggg:

hold Scroll Down and Select, power on the TX, scroll down until you find the reset menu, reset the model you are using (probably model 1) by hitting clear. Power off the TX, Start from the beginning taking care to mechanically set zero rather than adjusting the radio. Finless video's CCPM1 and CCPM2 show how to setup the radio/Trex. He's using a Futuba but the setup is simular.
Be sure to set the swash type to 3 servo 120 degrees, it's in the model setup menu (hold scroll down and select as you power on the TX), set that then power off the TX. Turn the TX back on then proceed with setup (refer to video's). I'm trying to make a video for the DX7 but I'm not certain when it will be done.

Are you sure the Pitch travel adjust and the Aileron travel adjust are at 100? Pitch travel is on the second page of the travel adjust screen. Did you get subtrim out of wack? In the end you would use travel adjust to compensate for the lagging servo by making it travel more. Say 120% vs. 100 for the rest.

My travels are set to 140% for all to get full scale swash movement with DS285 JR servos. Then I set Swash pitch mix down to 35% to get 10 degrees of collective pitch. Lastly, i had to reset the pitch servo travel down to 129% since it was giving me CCPM interaction (swash push) when it traveled more than the rest of the servos.

I'll try all your suggestions today, may just start completely over again and set up with a new model in the radio... I'll be looking forward to that vid on the DX7 ..Thanks for al you help.. I truly appreciate it..

Do you have this fixed yet? In post #2, Tmoore said your servos are plugged in wrong. I agree. The "elevator" servo(1 only) is the rearmost servo on the swash. I am sure you have it fixed by now. If not, I hope this helps.
