12Z throttle hold

Guys, is there a way to make the throttle go to full trim at idle in hold on the 12Z? I am using it with my turbine and if you lower throttle trim below full trim it kills the engine, all I can get out of the radio is 50%. New to this radio, any ideas?

Do you mean full trim or full throttle?

On the 14MZ (and my old 9C) you set the trim and throttle to the position you want and then set the value

In the 12MZ is the same.

Make sure you use the IDLE mode not the CUt Mode. You have to page down to see it.
Then you can set the trim to whatever you want.
Another option is to use the CUT Mode and set a value in it but that is a PIA

Not trying to hijack this thread but I am having a problem with Idle up on my 12z. Everything works except if I am in Idle up 1 or 2 and hit throttle hold the throttle goes to 50%, in normal mode it goes to the prescribed 17% What am I doing wrong?

You have a throttle curve that does not go to 0 in you throttle hold condition. as silly as it sounds you need to add a condition for TH and set the throttle curve to 0 at the low end. If you try to do it just by setting the switch to group it will do exactly what you described.
