I of course purchased this 'copter first, and am doing my research subsequent to the purchase.

I couldn't be more new to the hobby, having never flown anything in the past. And my current research indicates that I probably couldn't have picked a less forgiving platform on which to learn. I now understand that larger might infact be better, but short of buying another chopper to learn on, I'm hoping I could draw on the wealth of experience on this site.

The Q's

1. The factory Lipo is a 3S 10C 200Mah unit (small, eh?). Providing I follow the 80% rule, and keep an eye on the temps, can I continue to recharge and use this battery several times a day without ruining it?

2. In light of the fact that this copter is fairly powerful (supposedly 3D capable) and at this time I merely want to sucessfully hover, could it benefit from slight weight added to the ends of the training gear to simulate a larger craft, and slow down the twitchiness of this small machine?

3. The manual outlines a proceedure for adding tape to the wings to allow flight at higher elevations. Could this proceedure assist my endeavours of learning a stable low height hover?

4. I have been strictly following Radd's Flight instruction course, actually going slower than recommended. I am ready to try Battery 10 lesson, but in actuality am on batt 18, spending some extra stick time trying to better my control. Is it a pipe dream for me to expect to be able to learn controlled flight on this small micro?

5. When I do get back to the LHS to pick up more Batteries, what would the minimium recommended Mah rating I should be looking for? Can this platform handle the weight of a 400 - 800 mah battery, for longer run times especially while in the learning phase?

TIA, any and all assistance appreciated.

1 yes you can charge and use all day.
let the battery cool before charging

2 fly bar weights will slow it down some.
if still twitchy you can add a 2nd set

3 nah dont worry about this...flybar weights will make it more stable

4 nope....take your time if you want...its all about practice

5 sorry not to sure about the batteries.
i would get the biggest that the heli could handle though
