New fes head - washer - questions??

O.k Guys, some of you may already know i have just got the 255 grips / 200 head block as i'm trying to upgrade my 200 fes.

I'm asking here because the 255 new fes head has been available first.

My question is this, what goes between the grips and head block?

I have the bearings in the grips, 1 on the inside and 1 on the head side. The 1 on the inside has a small w3.1 x 4.6 x 1 washer between bearing and grip.

The head block has a recess in it and so does the grip.

I have a pack of these washers w3.1 x 5.5 x 1.1 and w3.1 x 4.6 x1 i tried to pack this area out with a combination of these [ 2 small and 1 large ] which worked, however there was about 2-3mm of play, so i put 1 more washer in both sides, this then made the grips to tight on the head.

Any answers???

You could add another ball-bearing (3X6X2 or 3X6X2.5) in the grip and reduce the spacer's (washer's) number.

Thanks egicar, i think i'm going to stick with the damper and step washer, although i'm struggling to find them!!

Is the damper and step washer the same as the fly barred heli head ?
