I am not going to pull my heli apart to count the teeth on the gears, but the final drive (not counting the pinion) is equivalent to having a single main gear with 158.1 teeth.

That's what I have in my jlog.
Just by pure maths it is something like (520 (kv) x 45v/158.1) x 14 (pinion)= 2072 Mick

Correction!
I have just done a little checking. Page 6 of the 2010 manual gives final drive figures with different pinions
12.36 : 1 (13 teeth pinion) = 160.68 10.71 : 1 (15 teeth pinion) = 160.65 10.04 : 1 (16 teeth pinion) = 160.64 It looks like I WAS wrong, from the manual it looks like it is about 160.666 (and what a beast it is) teeth equivalent. (520 (kv) x 45v x 14 (pinion))/160.666 = 2039. Live and Learn Now I have to update my JLog. MIck

Intermediate Gear : 63T (RI-0506)
Intermediate Pinion : 20T (RI-0516) Main Gear : 51T (RI-0416-2010) 13T Pinion 1 / [ 13 / 63 x 20 / 51 ] = 12.3576923077 14T Pinion 1 / [ 14 / 63 x 20 / 51 ] = 11.475 15T Pinion 1 / [ 15 / 63 x 20 / 51 ] = 10.71
