Hey All
Although I am still building my first real heli, the trex450 (have BCPP a V4, and XRB), but am already thinking of the next one. Yeah, I know, wife is *****ing at me too!

I was thinking of a raptor 50 for my first nitro bird, but our buddy Wayne Brown was in the chat room tonight and said that the rappy is ok, but there are better birds.

After talking for a few, he suggested a ghobee.

So here come the dumb questions:

-What model should I consider? (in the 50size range)
-Do they come with engines? If not, what engine should I consider?
-Since I dont believe I have ever seen them in my local hobby shops, are there a couple websites that always have parts?
-Is this a reasonably priced bird with reasonably priced parts and upgrades?

Anything else I should be aware of?

I know I will need a whole bunch of new stuff like starter battery and glow igniter. But if anyone want to help me out with a list of stuff needed that would not be in my trex450se toolbox, I would be very appreciative

Thanx ghobee guys!

There are package deals available from Gohbee that include an engine and or gyro.
I would recommend the Stinger 50 to start with with an OS 50 Hyper and a 401 gyro.
once you get to doing harder 3D, then I would recommend the metal head upgrade.
You will need/want a better muffler than the stock one. Although for learning the stock muffler is fine.

As for stuff needed You pretty much have it nailed with a starter, battery for starter and something to light the glow plug, and a fuel pump of some kind.
Depending on the set of wrenches that you have, you may need some bigger ones than what the Rex uses.
You may need a bigger pitch gauge.
