My first F3C heli

Although its an old one I still consider it usable for F3C. Its a Robbe Avantgarde.

I think I'll use 660mm glass blades. It has a 10cc (.60) OS engine in it.

My first contest helicopter was a Schluter Scout 2 with 680 mm blades and an OS 61 SFN with Super Tigre carburator and a Futaba 7UHP. My first FAI model was a Miniature Aircraft X-Cell SE with a YS 61 ST, 680 mm semi-symmetrical blades, Hatori muffler, and Futaba 9Z.
Those were the days.

Hey I like the idea of the trimmable horizontal stab made out of flybar paddles.

Hook that sucker up to a servo on a slider, maybe some special elevator mixes, that could be interesting. No more covering or cutting out holes in a stab, and can be set for a variety of airspeeds.

Yes the other one is a MFA 500 sport. I don't think it can be used for more then hovering :mrgreen:
