Carbon Predator z26Hanson mod. Wich RATIO ??????

Hi,
I saw Rodney Shuttera and HtoC vids and some other ones and I wonder wich gear ratio they use on their Helis ??? and how many head RPM ??
I have a Z26cc Hanson mod with a 88/14=6.28 G/R and I use to fly a 1850 Head rpm.
Wich is the best G/R and the best Head speed to have the max performance with a machine as mine ???

If you want to fly that high of a head speed, I think your gear ratio is pretty good and in the ballpark. You can go to the next ratio up which I think is 6.76 for the Predator, but in that case you should probably run around 1800 max rpms.

G26's like to run a little slower than the G231's. So limit them to 12,500 rpms max and for general flying around 11800 to 12k is in the sweet spot.

By the way this is all opinion and what people think is best. You can certainly try things and then come to your own conclusions. Then you can share your experiences with us here and form more opinions! :D

I'm pleased to hear you, I was thinking to buy your Jewel on-board Generators.
I told about it to a friend of mine in Switzerland and he bought one now that he has tried it he's very happy.
I think it will be the next thing I'll buy.

I was running the 231 which likes the higher rpm. Mine was 692 ratio with heedspeeds running 1860 to 1980

nice to meet you !!! I bought a gasser just because I saw your video.
I didn't think a gasser can fly like that before to see yours.
I'm happy about the predator and I'm gettin better in flying thanks
to it.
