I'm looking for some nice tools. Who makes the best:
Blade Balancer
Pitch gauge
bubble level
I like to buy things once so I'm willing to spend more if I get the best.
Thanks!

What size blades are you turning? I find that the Align 325 and 335 blades I buy are really well balanced and I never have to do anything with them. Larger blades are another ballgame.
And the bubble balancer? If you're using it to level your swash plate, you're wasting your time. Your swash has to be 90* perpendicular to the main shaft, not level to mother earth.
And my pitch gauge is stock Eflite. I use it to get the blades dialed 'almost' in and then finalize it with blade tracking to get it perfect.

I actually really like the black and blue eflite pitch gauge.. really nice.. easy to read.. only trouble there's a little guess work now as I set my helis to +/-14 collective and it goes to 12 if I remember.

Pricey but the best in my opinion. I do have my eye on the Beats-X digital unit that is out.
Here are my favorites.

I like my Align one.
I like pitch knob, turn the knob... change the pitch. I feel it allows for precise readings/settings.

I have a Tarrot one, which I'm pretty sure is the exact same as the Align. I don't like it much. If you are gonna spend the money on a pitch gauge I would just buy a digital one, I like that RC Logger gauge.

I have a Vario and MA and I love both of them. They will not work on small helis though.

I used the Align dial pitch gauge for a long time as well. Really great product there. Now I'm down to one heli, my nitro Aurora, and it's FBL now so I had to do something a little different.
I had an old Mavrikk pitch gauge laying around and what I did was take the blade grip part off and stick a Cen-Tech digi angle finder to it and presto, digital pitch gauge. Only hard part is sometimes it's too accurate and if your a little OCD like me, you'll fuss with things a bit more to get it "just right". That, and finding a good reference zero can make or break your readings.
This post has the basic idea for what I did: http://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?p=2416702#post2416702
Here's the pitch gauge: http://www.heliproz.com/prodinfo.asp?number=804150

Can't comment on the balancer or level because I don't use them. ;)

I use the e-flight, cost me 12 bucks and it works. Has anyone used the laser pitch gauge? I would post a link but I can't find it. I would like to get it just because it has a laser sounds kewl!!:noteworthy

I heard the laser one was pretty complicated. Like I said earlier I would just get a digital one, easy to use and very accurate.

+1 digital. I got mine from Harbor Freight. Nice to know if you are at 13.1 or 13.2. Every tenth counts.
I just put a rubber band around the blade grip.

I like my Miniatue Aircraft one. Not cheap at about $32, but it works great.

I have gone digital, makes set up so easy esp if your eyes getting bit old ! I have been using the RC Logger (http://www.readyheli.com/107RC-RC-Logger-Digital-Pitch-Gauge_p_37972.html) which fits nicely in 90 blade grips. Can also use for other jobs such as squaring off the tail or checking a surface is square to the mast before mounting up a gyro sensor

Another +1 for the Align. I had moved to a digital bevel box since going flybarless but after a while I decided I preferred the simplicity of the Align.
Luckily, Align made a piece that goes on the head in place of the head button and holds a 2mm rod perpendicular to the mainshaft so you have a visual sight reference for the pitch gauge. The one for the 450v2 head fits my Rave and makes it a lot more convenient than the digital for me.
