My goal. After the new belt drive is "kitted". I want to have this thing setup so I can either do some sport flying (loops/rolls) or have it lift up my camera rig (7 lbs) it will be running 12S.
What would the best motor/speed controller options be?
Is there a boom extension or am I stuck running 710mm blades?

Thanks. I had a CC on my old TREX450 so I have no problem not buying another one  Now granted it was a long time ago, but still.

You can get a 36" boom (well almost 36") that will allow you to run 800's or a little less on there. On 12S, you would want 12:1 or deeper. Remember to keep the disk slower with the bigger blades...say something 1600 or less. Follow the blade manufacturers recommendations. There are very few "good" blades in the 800mm category. What you might want to consider is using the long blades for camera work and then switching over to 710's for sport, with the appropriate throttle curve change of course.

Yes this was suggested to me.
Buy (2) complete booms (one short one long) then depending on my mood or needs, I could swap the tail and blades out in 10-15 minutes.
Change to the "other" model on the radio.
Done!

No need to change the boom, leave it long. Heck, you may find that the extra moment arm helps the gyro a bit. Unless you are concerned about crashing the long boom.
