Saw this over at RR - http://www.runryder.com/helicopter/t321334p1/

Anyone here going? Only about an hour from me, I think I'm gonna check it out.

A buddy and I made it down for a couple hours. Here's some misc. footage if you're interested - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7xR-lXMG1LI

Nice field they have, wish I lived a little closer. Some really good pilots, also Paul Beard from Spektrum was there. Good food, seems like some nice guys! I will definitely try to make it to the next one as well.

Oh, were you the one who took that video? I was the one who organized that day. You are more than welcome to come and fly with us anytime you're around the area.

We are organizing another day like that for the Sonora RC Club. By "We", I meant the Northen Cal heli guys from Sacramento, Concord, Vallejo and Stockton. If you want, I'll keep you posted on when it will be. Should be in the next month or so. I've already talked to a lot of guys as to when we are going to make it happen. The Sonora Club is already aware of the event and we just need to give them a date of when we are all going to make it down there. It'll be fun. We do this once in a while to support all the heli guys around Northern California. You are more than welcome to join us. Let me know. Hope to see you all there.

Definitely keep us posted! I'm from north of Sacramento and like going to other places to fly.

Hey thanks! Yeah, I'd definitely be interested in making it down for another. Sonora's a bit more of a drive, but I'm sure it will be worth it.
