I suspect thunder power makes flight power lipo's. The charging taps and capacities are interchangeable...so does anyone know definitively?

NO. Thunder power does not make flightpower packs.

And neither company actually makes lipo cells, so that is why the capacities are teh same, they buy the same cells.
As for the balacne connectors being the same, that is because FP changed to match TP.

The capacities are not the same.
The FP cells are all made where the TP Xtreme series are made. TP also uses a lot of cells made where FP used to get their cells made. ALL FP cells are made at the same place.
The main difference between the TP Xtreme series and the FP packs is that FP uses the most advanced cell selection process in the industry.
This is the correct information to answer your question.

Thanks for the info. It sounds like FP is a step ahead of TP because matching cells.

Forget the theoretical discussion (no offence),
I've seen the 27 minute video clip and all I can say is at $300 the c. 6000 Lithiums (+ charger) you mention are clearly essential equipment for the Logo 20.
Please make them available - & put me down for the first set off the line.
Thank you!

What does all this mean? This thread is about similairities between TP and FP.
Have direct comparisons been made between these two lipos? I would bet that they are similair and both being excellent.
