I have [SWASH MIX] page PIT. set to +45 and get about +/-11 with the mixing arms in the head on the "agile" setting.

Thanks Danal,
I found I was getting +9 -10 at 35%, something was wrong? 2 turns on one of the main blade links and 1 on the other fixed it and now I have +10 -10 at 40%. My last crash took out one of those links and I guess it was never resized correctly :dontknow
My curves to start are
Pitch
Normal at negative -4
40 45 50 75 100
ST1 0 25 50 75 100
ST2 0 25 50 75 100

Throttle I used Bob's basic setup
Normal 0 50 80 90 100
ST1 100 95 90 95 100
ST2 100 95 90 95 100

And a test flight tonight at work

This sounds about perfect.

My S1/S2 curves are more like 90-75-90 and 100-85-100, just so I can choose between a couple of headspeads. Yours look fine...

Do the servos that come with the DX7 work in a T-Rex 600?

Yes, with two caveats:

They are not the fastest or best... but the fit and work just fine. I was watching a guy do flips rolls loops inverted, the whole bit, just the other day with DX7 version o DS821 servo.

There have been some posts about failures in glow helis. No issues in T600s that I've ever seen. Several folks around here flying them.

Thanks for the encouraging response. I say "encouraging" because I'm about to buy a DX7 for a T-Rex 450, in which the DX7's servos will not fit because they're too big. Others have suggested I buy the DX7 with the DX6's receiver -- and no Spektrum servos. But I want the 7-channel receiver so I'll have an extra channel to use with an onboard camera. Hence, it looks like I'll be buying the whole DX7 package, and was wondering what, if anything, I could do with the unused servos. You see my drift? Your response tells me that I can avoid wasting $100 or less worth of servos by eventually getting a T-Rex 600!

And/or sell them. Lots of folks buying them and putting them in planks. One of our more prolific local plank builders has bought over 30 of them from DX7 purchasers.

Is a "plank" a type of rc airplane, or part of an rc airplane? (I'm new to rc aircraft and have started with helis, so "plank" isn't a familiar term, to me.)

Plank is just a slang term for an airplane. The name comes from the wing usually being straight and flat like a board or plank.
Like chopper is a slang term for a helicopter. Also there is a few more names, weed wacker, rotary wing, etc. etc.

If you ride a motorcycle, I would guess your familiar with the name of Cage for a car or truck.

I love the DS821 servos in my planes. I pick 'em up cheap (they retail pretty cheap, too, but people eager to get rid of them discount them heavily), they are almost always brand-new, and they are very strong while weighing the same as a standard servo.

They work just fine, don't buzz much (if at all), have good centering, and work well on up to .40-sized aircraft where you need a stronger servo. I, too, would probably avoid using them in a .50 or .60-sized heli due to the stresses involved (I'd want something stronger), but they work very well for what they are.

My AR7000 receiver is still sitting in the box right now. The AR6000 works great for everything I fly (nothing bigger than .40-sized).

...refer to my helicopter as a human cuisinart. It gets peoples attention,
especially when they wander onto the flying field to "get a better look".
